Howdy guys! I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a reasonable mechanic, preferably mobile, in the San Diego area. I have a '61 Falcon I've been working on. I need some suspension work on the front, alternator swap, some brake business... Nothing to in depth. I got a new job which killed whatever free time I had. What was a fun weekend project is now haunting me from the driveway 3 months later. Id like to get this bad boy summer ready.

    Thank you!!!

you are better off having it towed a reputable shop. i have tried to provide mobile repairs but the inefficiency of working out of a truck, in an "unknown" work space, with limited tools and access to supplies makes it more costly than doing it a properly out fitted shop. plus depending on how far away, i would have to charge almost the same amount to get my sorry *** there as it would to get the car towed to me.

Go to a cruise night and ask around, some guys do side work or can point you to a shop that works on old cars.
