Ok guys, someone at the Texas State Championships told me about a small museum in a small town North of OK City about 45 miles. This museum has a lot of MEL racing stuff in it plus a few cars. I was very busy at the time and didn't write down the information and now I can't remember where it is or the name of the guy who has the museum or the town it is in. Can anyone help out here? Thanks
I wonder if you're talking about Rick Kirk's place in Ripley, Oklahoma. He has a lot of Ford racing stuff.
More like an hour, I would say its RK machine (Rick Kirk) in Ripley its about 15-20 miles east of Stillwater, Rick is a great guy, and I would say he's the Flag ship for Ford history. If your up this way give me a call and I'll see if we can get up there and see him. Bruce 405 250 3240

Hope you can put up with him.............and don't leave his place without going up in his office........still has his frickin pajamas......bunny feet i think...............and for sure, don't tell him that the Texas Thunder bunch put you up to it........... Rick has quite a bit of FE and MEL stuff in his Museum in Ripley...I am sure you will enjoy a walk thru.........and by the way, all of those buildings around his shop are FULL of NOS FE stuff.........around lunch time, be sure to mention that Barbque is a favorite.........just watch yer plate.............. Rick Kirk, yep, that's the name now that I see it written. Rpley, OK....Got it and thanks guys. Being a MEL lover, and an old one, I am sure we will get along. If he won't sell some of, maybe i'll just bring Guido with me...he he he
Sounds to me like a good Saturday morning trip and caravan of old cars driving up there...maybe even after a HAMB and Eggs meet
There is one in Ames, Oklahoma that has been featured in National Hotrod shows. Its about 45 miles N/N/W of OKC. His collection of old Drag Cars will blow you away. Several of my friends took a tour of his place several months ago, and I will try and find out his name for you. I think he has several rare Drag Station wagons also. Mostly Fords, I think. Maybe someone else can add more info.
