Technical Mellings camshaft information

All right, has anyone got an old Melling camshaft catalog? I picked up an ancient Melling performance cam for Chevy 235/261 sixes at Hershey yesterday, and it's marked CCR 11 on both the box and the end of the cam. Specs would be appreciated.

 

Melling is still around. Google them and go to the contact us area and call their tech line.

 

yep and the tech guy is busy but he will call you back and hes a nice guy too . there used to be a online listing for all there cams in a parts manual . do not know if its still online or not .

 

The man to speak with over at Melling is George (Richmond), "rock-solid" guy and MAY be able to answer all your questions??

Thanks, thorpe. I discovered last night, when I took a closer look at the cam and saw where the distributor drive was located, that whoever wrote "54--62" on the box was mistaken. It is indeed a solid lifter cam for the later Chevy sixes.
