    Thanks for the great coverage. This event was on our bucket list and it did not disappoint. The cars were great but the people were totally outstanding. I'll be back again next year. Thanks, Gary

    Thanks Mark. It was good to see you there and the pix are outstanding.
    For those who have never been this is probably the most enjoyable "race" on the planet--no qualifying, no eliminations, just a bunch of cars making laps for the fans. Stormy Byrd and Randy Winkle came all the way from California and Merek Checktow was there from Nevada just to make laps.

    we stay in Rockford, it is about 20 minutes away and there are lots of motels there. there is camping at the track also

    Anyone know what was the price on this? I was drooling on this when it came up for sale couple years ago. Too bookoo for me though. Bought lottery tickets for this week ;) so I gotta ask.
