    That Hemi Dodge showed up last year with 6 x 2brls on top of the supercharger. (might have been 8) It did ridiculous burnouts and sounded very very healthy. Seemed to have problems making a pass (at least the attempts I saw) Doesn't surprise me to see the 2 x 4 brls for this year. I am surprised they are not bigger than they appear (750's ??)

    My son & I had planned to go on Sunday. After seeing the weather report, I decided to not drive the 2 hours to get rained out. Obviously, a mistake. Thanks for the great coverage, Mark.

    Actually that was probably a good move. After very heavy rain rolled through the area in the early hours of Sunday morning and soaked the track a large number of racers called it a weekend. Saturday is the day to be there (and plan on hanging around to see the action under lights that night as well).

    This was such a cool show! I drove up with my wife on Saturday just to spend the day. Next year I'll be taking the C10 back and staying the whole weekend. Too much to see in just one day. The Meltdown Drags has got to be one of the premier events in the midwest now. Good swap, great venue, great cars, great racing, great people. Hard to beat it.
