I had to join because of friends telling me of posts on the hamb. I am a rodder that drives my cars year-round (snow and all). I prefer to attend old style rod runs, one day "car shows" are not for me with their award centered attendees.

I have had my 34 coupe on the road since 1976. It has a 50 flathead and enclosed drive train. No heat, A/C or radio. Just a basic car.

My other drivers are a '57 Chevy hardtop (since 1971), a 40 Ford P-U stretch cab and a stretched and widened 1948 International KB-6 on 3/4 Ton Chevy ch***is.

These are not show cars, I drive 2 miles of gravel road to reach a highway. I find the damage from driving comes from highway travel more than the gravel. Why worry when it just paint?

I am glad to join the traditional rodders on the hamb even though not all of my cars fit the style of this forum.

Here is the International. I did all the metal work, paint and ch***is myself over a few years. I use it to tow a 24 ft camper occasionally. The rest of the time is just is an oversize truck, esp. when next to a rat rod pick-up.
