today me a my 4yr old girl painted and changed my housings around my headlights . she's a pretty good painter and knows how to use a screwdriver. i had sand blasted them a month or so ago , but had a few minutes today to put them on. after that she painted some pill bottle lids that her and my wife are going to make snow men out of. i sprayed a little but she done the most . my wife couldnt beleive i was letting her spray paint .
You've got to start them young. I can't get my youngest son to help with the car and he's 32. He will let me work on his cars though.
my 14 yr old step son dont want nothing to do wth it , old cars aint cool. but all his freinds like my old cars.
Yeah, I dunno, I was more focused on other things at 14 than cars. Though I grew up with them. Everyone reacts to these hulks differently. Though, thats rad! I hope I've kids someday to get memories like this to cherish.
You are very lucky to be able to do that with your daughter . I did many things with my daughter but she wasn't a car girl . I can still remember just about everything we did with my daughter and the times she and I had together . Now she is grow up and married and lived 15 hours from us . That really is hard on us but do see her twice a year . She does call my wife all the time but that's the mother /daughter thing . they just grow up way too fast for me and I am sure many will agree on that one too . Also take as many pictures as you can ! Those are really great to have around the house and the garage to show off ! I miss mine allot and wish they lived a lot closer to us ! Jim
