My dad is up in DC this weekend for the "Run to the Wall" annual - made the ride up from Miami. He went for the first time last year & was so moved by it, it was all he could talk about for several weeks afterwards. He's determined to go to as many as he can.

When I get back to the states in a couple years, I'm gonna get to that run. Some of the truest of heroes are the families - they give up more than the servicemen ever do. It's hard to imagine & near impossible to understand.

Here's to all the servicemen past, present, & future! May their sacrifices, and those of their families, not be forgotten.
