Lets not forget why this is a holiday, the country has recently lost some very fine Marines from Pendleton in helicopter accidents and that makes this a sad day for some new families. Semper Fi

Returned from Memorial Services, but wanted to post a picture that define Memorial Day to me. There are men represented on this wall I served with (and one Nurse I knew), and I wish I could have another conversation with them. I hope I make them proud
My Uncles in Korea (Fathers Brother Joe was a Paratrooper Chaplin. Mothers Brother Ralph was a field artillery combat medic). Uncle Joe who has since p***ed parachuted into Uncle Ralph's camp to say M*** for the men. Last year I had the privilege to ****** Uncle Ralph on an Honor Flight Mission for Veterans. It was a moving experience that neither of us will ever forget.
