Anyone know of a floor shifter for a mercomatic 2 speed ******, or how to build one? can a powerglide shifter be altered to operate this unit? this is the cast iron air cooled ******, same as fordomatic.
Well a glide is P.R.N.1.2. if the merc is the same you should be able to make it work. Or at least maybe re number the shifter cover?

Powerglide shifter should work, but will need some bracket mods. I would go with the universal one from Peepboys, or AZ.
