I assume he "made" the convertible. My Lincoln is the cosmopolitan version. So it looks almost the same except the body lines on the side go straight back just under the windows much like a nash or hudson. I've seen his front end done. It basically uses the existing grill hole if you will. Not a big fan personally. Seems like it's trying to be a merc but not quite. I'm going for something completely different. Hopefully it will turn out. I have some pretty good mockups of the front. But want to work on that part of it some more before committing.

Tell me about your build sheet. What did you use to lower it? suspension? What are you finishing yourself?

I'm strongly considering chevy truck trailing arms in the rear with airbags and shocks. Airbags up front but can't get a difinitive answer on what terminal camber adjustment is i.e.- how far can I drop the front without loosing the ability to adjust the camber. Keeping the wheels straight up and down.

I'm also hoping to put a 500ci Cad motor and 400 trans in it. The interior may remain the same or I may put a different set of seats in it.

  10. Here goes,

    suspension-front,'70 T-bird rear-Ford 9",4 leafs,4" blocks,airbags(soon)
    Engine-small block Ford
    trans-C6

The ride height will be just like you see it in the pic's. I'm baggin it just so I can get up my driveway and speed bumps. It'll ride on the leafs.Slddnmatt is working on a Merc right now that has dropped spindles and front bags, and it lays right on thr frame.Send him a PM,i'm sure he'll send you pic's.I'm going to install the stereo, install the airbags.layout the flames, change out the stock gauges, change out the shifter, change the hubcaps, put a stock '49 grill on,install the sidepipes, then i'll have the interior done and have the flames painted(Might paint them myself)have it striped.
