Technical Mercury 368 Turnpike Cruiser

Does anyone know of a rubber rear main seal that will fit this engine? Will another Y-Block seal fit or an FE seal maybe??

 

Go buy a 312 seal and try it for fit

 

312 has the same 2 5/8" rear main diameter as the 368. Worth a try

 

Try a Best. Better than other manufacturers. If the original was asbestos rope style it is best to machine the crosshatch pattern on the crankshaft.
The next best thing is a PCV system; helped my 292 Y Block a lot. It has a Best rope style..
