E A C on heads indicate 52 or 53 Mercury. If all parts are original it would be 255.6 cu in, 7.2:1 comp ratio and rated at 125 h.p.
Correct, BUT everthing Ford and merc interchanges easily and these engines have been worked on for 60 years now, so do NOT assume that anything but the head is '52 Merc! It might be, or it might be a very different mixture of stuff inside. If buying it as a Merc, at very least verify the stroke, which is the $ difference between a Ford and a Merc.
