Mercury 8CM rebuilt when I bought the car. After some headaches with new Johnson lifters and screwing around with lash it turns out prior owner didn’t break cam in correctly. I do have a stock replacement cam that is a perfect candidate for a 1007 regrind. I put in a Mallory dist. When I first bought the car. 12 volt generator. Runs cool, blocked heat riser passages. Starts right up cold. Stromburgs and intake do not go with engine.
