'52 Mercury hubcaps fit 15" wheels, not 14" wheels. You may be measuring them wrong. '52 Mercury caps (***uming you're talking about full wheelcovers here, not the "dog dish" style center caps) will snap onto a stock '51 Mercury wheel.

Stock 51 Merc bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2 52 and later is 5 on 4-1/2 same as 49 and up Ford.
If you truly need a 14 inch wheel you will probably have to hit the aftermarket as I don't know of a 5 on 5-1/2 x 14 inch wheel of any kind.
You would have to hunt for 57/58 or 59 Chrysler Imperial wheels to find that bolt pattern in a 14. Probably cheaper to see if one of the aftermarket outfits will make a set.

If you can not find the imperial wheels. Drill out your merc centers and find some donor outer shells and weld them . Or contact wheel guy here on the board and he can fix you up with what you need.

    '62 Merc caps? Huh? Possible...

Also, just for drill: '56 Mercs had 5 0n 5" pattern...same as Cad, Buick, Pontiac, Olds...
