Hide the gifts, until they're wrapped Get stuff for the tree, and all the other **** Fight the crowds at the department stores Battle with the traffic jams Plan Christmas dinner like logistics for a war Son of a *****, I forgot the HAMS!!! But it all comes together one starry night After the relatives leave my humble house After all the strife, it seems so right And all is quiet as a mouse I know that in the morning I will see Very young people, as once was me Exclaiming brightly and with glee - As they find what's under the CHRISTMAS TREE..."
