    Mine now says 3 messages, yet when I click on the envelope in the upper right hand corner between the oscar and the lighntning bolt it shows old messages only, not the new messages that I being alerted to. It went form showing 1 message to 3 and still nothing new shows.

    Is there something that alerts us of new "private conversations"? Like the old flashing envelope for new PM's? I missed a few messages for 3 or 4 days, ***uming I would somehow be alerted.

    Yes, The banner with the envelope on it will be red instead of grey.
