Why the hell does it take so damn long to clean up and get everything back where it needs to be, when it takes so little time and effort to mess the damn place up? I was goofing around last weekend on my Dodge , messing with my pedal ***embly, and within 3 hours, my garage went from straight lace betty to sloppy and loose Cindy; yet my car looks none the better for any of it.
I think that we all like that in one way or another. When ever my 22 year soon works on his truck, it is just like a typhoon when thru the garage. Tools, hardware, and parts everywhere. Mark
Whew, for a minute I thought you had found a photo of my garage. Mine is so bad right now that I'm afraid a Red Cross team will show up to ***ess the damage. Bad case of too much stuff and not enough space.
I can see the floor in your picture - That means it's much cleaner than mine. I've wondered if a tornado actually did come through if it might put everything back where it belongs?
I wish my garage looked those ^^^^,Hell everytime i start to clean mine some jack *** stops & asks if i'm having a garage sale! right now mine beyond jacked!
If it were only my stuff in the garage i'd be in good shape. Two kids worth of **** makes things difficult.
Amen...i walk into my garage and it goes upside down the moment i touch a tool. Fortunately my 4yr old has an obession with helping daddy clean the garage. Dont know if that is a good thing but i am sure by the time the boys start coming around they wont stand a chance when to comes to knowing her way around a car.
This is the cycle of our shop every few weeks....Put everything away and then whammo! Mad thrash to get a car delivered! Tools and parts on makeshift tables all over the shop....Reminds me of this pic from Trosley.
Okay guys, at least I am not alone with having this desease. Nice to know that a few others out there meet with loose Cindy more than they like. I suppose tomorrow, when I go out there after work, it will start all over again. I cleaned up real well last time. Another thing, not to keep complainin', but do you guys run out of electric outlets cause you keep pluggin in so many damn grinders and lights, the radio and computer, the yada yada on your work bench? Even with my long power switch/bar, I still find myself picking which cord is least important to unplug first, only to find out that whatever I unplugged is sure to be the tool I need next!
That my friend is my biggest hurdle I have in the shop. Hey i might actually be normal???Strike that...
The theory of gravitation a great job done makes a huge mess gravitate around it .The bigger the job the larger the mess kind of like flinging poop at a wall.
A clean garage is the sign of a sick mind. That being said I clean mine when I finish up for the day. I hate starting the next day looking for tools and parts. I tell my 11yo nephew that's they I do things, funny thing is he starts putting this away before I'm done. It's actually pretty nice.
X3..... All i do is clean mine no dirt in my garage, and dont let it fool you it gets used ALOT its the neighborhood autoshop. my daughter had to have her truck in the picture..lol Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Messy? How 'bout crowded? Mine's so packed full'a **** I gotta' go outside to change my mind....and it's 36F in there....
Before I drywalled my garage I wired it for outlets on every 3rd stud about 4' off the floor - every other one is a 4-gang. My wife thought I was nuts but sees now how they get used. She even complimented me on planning that way. Now if I had only plumbed it with hardline for air like my dad suggested. Oh well, next garage.
