Metal $$$ going down??

I took 2100 lbs of scrap to Seattle last Saturday, and got $75 per ton.

 

bummer! now i won't have as many tweakers to run the fuck over!

 

Notice the price of oil dropping too as the dollar goes up.

 

i agree that a lot of people will still have the old price in they're head when they go to sell a body. i bet we will hear that for years to come- i can sell it for more if i scrap it. i don't sell many whole cars or tin but mostly short steel and i'm glad mine was sold a while back. it's getting hard to get any good scrap buys at auctions for the last year, i'm ready for that to change.
