    I have a friend who's trailer is parked at some lake near you Guys so I volunteered to do some driving for him,and help him pick it up.

    Can any of you English Wheel guys out there tell me what radius anvils you would make if building a wheel and anvils. what size radius along with how wide of a flat section in the middle? thanks, Jeff

    So for the most part the gas tank sides are done.
    Now we have a choice of a dash or mini car side.
    The car side needs 2 people because of its size.

    the large harbor freight english wheel and the anvils for it are sold seperately. i believe the the full set are less than a hundred bucks. almost all car mags have a HF ad with a 20% off coupon.
    unless you get the material and bearings for free, you probably couldn't make them yourself cheaper. the frame isn't a bad deal ethier.
    i would like to get the large one myself. i got the small one (about 2 ft. frame) that they clearanced out for 40 bucks with anvils.

    Ok,tonight we carried on with the dash's and mini 32 sides.
    One 'keen guy carried on finishing his gas tank.

    Hooligan's hot rods, I like that!

    I brought in to work tonight all the stuff we've made on the course and I get the same reaction from everyone.....you made that!! I always thought an english wheel was black magic but once you get some basic training and see what the metal will do it is fairly easy to understand. The sky is the limit after that.
