Technical Metal Valve Stems

    Had a slow leak in my RR tire on my PU. Took it to the local tire shop to get checked. Turns out the rubber O-rings on the metal stems were totally dried out. Had them check all the rims and found the same. Changed out all of them. I guess one more thing to periodically check.

    problem is that there is no rubber in 'rubber' any more....good reminder to add it to the check list

    they usually replace rubber stems when you get new tires, make sure the put new gaskets in the metal ones when you get new tires, too
