Does anyone know know the old metalflake steering wheels were made. I found a site that showed the old Crager steering wheels, I beleave the were made by bell. Just thought it was neat how they have no seams. It would be cool to know how. Think of what else you could do!
If you can't find them on rod sites you may check out the boat places. They were popular on boats from that era.
I found the wheels a while ago. But it would be cool to aply that metal flake to other things, like seats an other stuff. I necer thought about boats.
Someone just mentioned to me that Juliano's had an advertisement for new metal flake steering wheels, in one of the mags, but I havent seen it yet. I wish someone besides Mooneyes would start reboping/selling them.

I wonder why they don't. Moon says they sell out of them pretty quick so there is obviously a market for it. I got mine from Moon and had no trouble. I asked if I could send it back if it had too much dish. He said I could but I'd be smarter to put it on ebay and make money on it. Then I checked and he was right. They do sell on ebay for more than Moon sells them for. Onelow48, There is a company called "The Shitty Seat Co." that is making metal flaked seats. Thats where I got mine. They are not pink like they look in the picture. They almost match the Moon wheels red. The guy also makes other styles. He has a nice "bomber" style seat that I like , but I didn't have enough room in the A for them. He sells on ebay alot.
