The history on that roadster goes like this, I had a chance to buy a 58 plymouth, my dream car, from a guy in New Mexico, but I had a car show to go to that weekend. I told him I'd send the rest of the money when I got back home Tuesday. got home, called the dude, and he'd sold the car out from under me. I was pissed. I called Rob Fortier, and said if i couldn't have fins, I want to go fast. He knew a guy in SoCal who had a t project for sale and made the deal for me. I went to SoCal for the rat fink reunion that year with Ryan Cochran riding shotgun. I struck a deal with Anthony from the Shifters to get the parts pile rolling. Ryan Let me borrow the valve covers. I should have gotten them back to him before james bought the car. That is one of the reasons I suck. James had cool cars before he bought this one. the test ride with him behind the wheel was one of the scariest times in my life. that car is fast, light, and not built for high speed downhill runs with sharp curves on bumpy roads. that car originally had a 6 deuce intake on it with 94's. never could get it right. got the 4 two's from BigRic at one of the first roundups. still fouls plugs but runs like stink when opened up.......James still has the car, and still drives it at least twice a week......It still had the Kansas BEATN1K tag on it in the Metallica Movie.... Don't know why everyone thinks I suck, or why they would say that, or where those buttons came from....................

IMO, if you have to stick up for someone on a board like this and nobody else has, there has got to be an inside joke there somewhere. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME HOW I KNOW Although, it did seem to make a lot of people happy.........
