Cool! Hume, Foster, Hanna Marcel and Lil John. What a bunch of legends! Those guys set the bar way up there. And a long time ago. Its great to see them still at it. Tim @ www.irrationalmetalworks.com
looks like someone who is ultra **** about polishing EVERYTHING...... if it ever gets in a wreck, it will be hell to fix because so many parts are custom one only..... The work however, is INCREDIBLE!
I suppose. Speculation about the toilet training of guys like Hanna, Hume, Fuller, Butera and the rest of them deserves its OWN thread, dontcha think?
Tom Hanna is a pretty neat guy, damn talented too. I went through his shop a few years back and to see his stuff in person is awesome. Here's a post I did a while back, it has many pics: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121460
I don't know Tom Hanna, but I have talked with him on the phone (seeking dragster knowledge) - He is truely amazing - I expected him to be very busy and I tried to keep our conversation as short as possible - he had no part of that - instead treating this complete stranger like a long lost relative. As far as I'm concerned the only thing more amazing than his work is his personality. I can't think of anyone I admire more.
Cool, thanks. $3000 sounds like a lot,but the gallery takes half of that, so you are down to $1500. Take off $3-500 for hard wood, then shop overhead, and he's got to be making them pretty quick to actually make any money.
So my question is, with the slip stream lines on the back of the body that look functional, i wonder if he actually put it in a windtunnel to get the funtions right? That is just BAD***!
