somebody asked for Packards???? mmmmm, here a rare1 of 750 produced 53 Caribbean cab in show conds... too bad i took these pix in a garage without much light....car is flawless anyway.... has been sold but still in town.....
ok,something unusual...a 34 chrysler racer,restored.....fully running and a racy camino 59 with some serious hp... last year show....
ok,get this....to save this one took me a ful day and night to thow all the trash off the car,and around too... the previous owner lives literally in a garbage yard, and from 2 meters away i could not see the 51 merc....unreal!!! so,that was really a mess to clean... also a fu###in black scorpion bite in my hand at 2 oclock in the mornig, was hurtin a lot....but luckily no major consequences... but the baby wnt out finally... do you guys believe there just parked besides the merc a 57 chevy 2D-HT????swear to god,is sittin just besides but you could'nt see it from a meter away....i could see it either from there, what a mess but besides all work, the mers was really solid, neede only some patching on floors....another one on the road already....
GOTCHA....finally.still remember was smellin like SHIT for couple of days after the merc experience... also almost needed to some shots to prevent exotic diseseas too... but hey, there is a price to pay for a kustom car....
zumo, plenty of old trucks around..especially in the countryside where they use them seriously for loadin stuff... it's funny i have almost no pix of old trucks, not a big fan myself.... but easy to get, such as early 50's fords and chevys.... best way is to get lost in the countryside and get them around..watch out the bullets too
How do you go about buying all this stuff,do you have to be " in the know " or what? how do people react when you ask about it?
these are common cars here..46 to 48 fords coupes....lots of them around...from rusty to very good conds.... it was a popular car back in the day,and they're still around...
54bomb,plenty of hard work on networkin contacts..all over the republic... and an infinite dosis of patience, believe me....
some more Caddys stuff... a 47 convertible...running and a 60 eldo biarritz with tripower option carbs.... both are average restorable conds...not for sale

rusty time again... an olds 52/53 2D-HT abanboned, complete but rusted A model coupe... some different junk i have.... the yellow 36 3w is the very first i bought here... a chevy 47 aerosedan sedanette, good running car...has patina and a rusty chrysler 56,bought it for the 354 hemi,running... a merc 56 montclair too in the pix, running and solid
here a ford 40 de luxe i found on the mountains outside the city... was primered pink, but driveable.... we droved back in the night with almost no exaust system, gettin intoxicated ....aprox 70miles... but hey, what do you expect for 900 bucks???? sorry, not for sale
something rare here...not many around,a VICKY 33 ford hot rod still in the family since 3 generations...tripowered 97's on my old fella Alfredo owns this one,is really an hardcore mexican hot rodder and is 70 by now.....nicknamed Clay Smith still does not wanna sell his cars.... a great mechanic too....and he was one of the fasters drivers around in another section will show this old gang in action thru vintage pix they have...collecting hot rod pix to show all you guys that REAL hot rod was common way of life in mexico city back in the 40's....
ok,last one for now..gotta go!another 35 ford 3w i bought months ago... really solid on metal, come with all front end too....still got it!! aloha ,sled

PAULC713...hombre,las mordidas es lo de menos, problem is the stupidity of the mexicans taht are throwin in the trash the cool stuff...can tell ya lots of stories of great cars just lost here... you know the term: bien pagado o bien podrido,no??? in english means: greatly payed or greatly rotten.... they don't give a shit about...but i'm here!!!! MARCY...you will die when you see all black/white hot rodders from here...looks like hop up mag,and great cars too...no bullshit!! they knew exacly waht was good them, same as today..nothing changed basically, exept the age of the guys.....most of them daed by now... trying to collect as much pix i can from the age....wanna put all stuff in a book,if i can ....taht's the idea.
