My bad Sled, I did take you the wrong way. I just looked back and when you needed some measurements or info, and people came to help out without fail...what makes this place great. Id say a lot of people on here would love to turn out metalwork half that nice, and learning ways to do it is an awesome angle of this place. I just took it as you know how but won't share..."secret" and thought that sucked.

BUT, I was wrong, totally apologize my man!

    Pure car porn!!!!

Learning heaps here, don't stop. I like how you're taking a big job and braking it into lots of small jobs which turns into "The Big Picture" at the end.

This is what I signed up for.

been slow last week, nothing happened...but from today i'm on again and is rusty time...well,jumped on passengers side ,some fast cutting to find out the usual...holes and rust!Swiss cheese is appropriate!!
Man,i don't wanna think about....let's keep going and buddys like ETHER are comin up in my mind now...even worse case than mine,i feel supported somehow...
Driver's side complete rocker is trimmed and reay to be welded in..pix soon!
but will be much faster this side, most parts are ready to be installed, and have all measurements..so,should be no surprises
hope you don't get bored ,fellas...

Still alive and well buddys, but a bit slow last week...yeah,you guys are right,it was a struggling on patchin and panels all over..on small details on rear wheelwells...shit,was not good even for parts i realized ,is true....

but there is no way back,i'm motivated and i don't give up,no worries

simply seems that i can't see anything done cause so many little details to fix...looks never ending!!

don't have enuff pix to post now,but soon they come as usual...

probably will put the body into the chassis next week to start cutting for the front clip,at list visually is more pleasing and satisfctory...

i'm repeating myself...another merc on the road, another Merc on...so,my karma wont fall down...ah,ah,ah...

    thanx for the support buddys....

chassis time now...full braced and centered.currenly takin my time to level the whole things, and then ready to cut out...will use an IFS Mustang stage 2 from Fatman here, will be much cleaner on the overall look...stainless A arms, nice shiny stuff.
Also due to the 454 engine use will use front disc brakes, gotta stop somehow...
Usually i'm more into old style engines but ok,wanna have some fun here..so,will se how it goes...auto tranny indeed!

after some slow times, finally the front clip is ON!!!Took the time to triple check all measurements, aligmment ,diagonal references, and bla,bla....have a tolerance of 1mm here..
also i found that the original clip was bent, and was not good enuff to follow...
But is over,1 more step done....
