I picked up my application for a Michigan assembled auto title as the AV8 is of course and it requires both front and rear bumpers and blinkers as well as a few other items I had no intensions of adding. Don't see to many bupers on a low 28 Model Coupe rod. Any help would be great as to how you handled this!

You should try to purchase a title for a model A at a swap meet, it is alot easier than filling out an application, and having a vehicle inspected. The titles are usually around $100-150, sometimes more, sometimes less. Flatheadpete bought a title for his bucket in Midland for $30.00, ya never know, you might find a cheap one like that. Try posting a classified, guys on this website are fair priced from what I have seen. Good Luck- Joe

That's what I did with the tub, just bought a title. No problems. Here's a number for Street Rod'n, vintage titles. 410-257-6522. They advertise in the back of R&C.

if the car has a vin plate and numbers anywhere just apply for a lost title...as long as it hasn't been registered in someone elses name in the last seven years it will be no problem..done it a couple times myself...officer will come out and check it to see if the numbers match fill out the paper work and new title in your name will come in the mail

a friend of mine has just made up his own VIN numbers before. made plate for the firewall then stamped em into the frame somewhere and applied for a lost title. he's also filled out some kind of form and had a cop come inspect the car. often times it did'nt have all the bumpers and that crap and they approved it...
