    HERE IS ANOTHER ME STORY ,, My name is JEFF ANDERSON ,, I livein CADILLAC, MI .. and am 58 , been married for 39 years, to a wonderful lady that understands my obsession with old iron . and have 4 children, from 37 to 25..
    At present time I do own 14 pieces of iron with 4 wheels, and about 16 with 2 wheels, Cushman scooters ..
    My daily driver { in summer } is a 56 chev , and I bought another one this past summer, for me, the old one goes to the bride . as it is an mommy shifter car .. new one has a 4 speed .. over my decades od life, I have owned over 100 old 55 - 57 chevs .. plus all the other cars .. My sons and I are into roundy round racin ,, dirt type .. I guess asphalt is for getting there .. I do have a 55 chev, that is being built into a g***er, got part of it doe, just stalling for the rest .. seems like we start one project, and a better one pops up.. anyone ever done that ? bet not , lol .
    I have been watching the HAMB site for a while, and realize that you are a tough bunch of guys ,, it took me this long to get up the courage to join , so now let the thrashing begin .. lol....they told me it doesnt get easier the older you get ..
    Well this is my story and I"m sticking to it ..untill something better comes along .. JEFF { OLD SWEDE }

    Welcome from a Swedish Swede ! [IMG]

  21. Welcome to our looney-bin...good intro. The stance and front suspension on that '55 looks familiar - had my hands in a similar drag car back in the 60's. Ran a 302+ Jimmie with a hand grinder (Muncie). Did yours happen to come from down this way (Muskegon/Montague)? Wheelwells radiused and a 12 bolt rear?

    Welcome Jeff. Another old Michigan guy. I like that. Ray was right it's Tom May and he does have a really nice shop. Tom isn't a computer guy so he's not on here. Anyway it's good to have you on. There are a bunch of us old farts in the Saginaw, Bay City, Midland area and we are always at all three Midland junk fests. Stop by and say hi.

    Welcome to the HAMB. Nice intro. I hang up north when time permits. My folks have a vacation home in Gaylord complete with sleds for wintertime fun. We sometimes head to the Treetops for their car show in July. Perhaps our paths will cross one of these days. Once again, welcome to the HAMB.

  28. Welcome....from another old Swede. I lived in Baldwin, MI 11 and 12 years ago and got to Merritt Speedway and the Manistee Fairgrounds when the sprints and/or midgets ran there.

    I did quite a bit of design and detail work for Cadillac Rubber & Plastics and the foundry a couple of blocks from there.
