I have been watching the HAMB site for a while, and realize that you are a tough bunch of guys ,, it took me this long to get up the courage to join , so now let the thrashing begin .. lol....they told me it doesnt get easier the older you get .. Well this is my story and I"m sticking to it ..untill something better comes along .. JEFF { OLD SWEDE }

Welcome Jeff from another Michigan resident.Your 56 looks a bit familiar;do you do any shows with it? Oh BTW that guy you bought the 9" stuff from;would that be Tom May?Has a NICE 32 3-window and is doing up a chopped Shoebox now.Anyway,I live down south of everyone just about but travel around a bit.Enjoy the board;it's a great place. Ray
Welcome! Several of us have a pretty bad case of g***er fever, so thanks for showing us the '55! Glad you're here...
From one new Michigan guy to another, welcome I'm down in Auburn Hills, I like the G***er, very cool!
Welcome to our looney-bin...good intro. The stance and front suspension on that '55 looks familiar - had my hands in a similar drag car back in the 60's. Ran a 302+ Jimmie with a hand grinder (Muncie). Did yours happen to come from down this way (Muskegon/Montague)? Wheelwells radiused and a 12 bolt rear? Charlie
Welcome Jeff. Another old Michigan guy. I like that. Ray was right it's Tom May and he does have a really nice shop. Tom isn't a computer guy so he's not on here. Anyway it's good to have you on. There are a bunch of us old farts in the Saginaw, Bay City, Midland area and we are always at all three Midland junk fests. Stop by and say hi.
Welcome to the HAMB. Nice intro. I hang up north when time permits. My folks have a vacation home in Gaylord complete with sleds for wintertime fun. We sometimes head to the Treetops for their car show in July. Perhaps our paths will cross one of these days. Once again, welcome to the HAMB.
yeah that Tom May is a cool guy. alot of us Michigan HAMBers have been to his place a time or two. the Midland boys see him quite a bit. i WANT that 55 g***er!! let me know when you get bored with it. i'm in no hurry but i do want one one day.
welcome from another Michigan Hamber. If we get a few more we might have to start are own message board.
Welcome....from another old Swede. I lived in Baldwin, MI 11 and 12 years ago and got to Merritt Speedway and the Manistee Fairgrounds when the sprints and/or midgets ran there. I did quite a bit of design and detail work for Cadillac Rubber & Plastics and the foundry a couple of blocks from there.
Welcome from the Mount Pleasant contingent (that would be me - I'm also the Whitehall contingent when I'm at home with my parents).
