That bubble top is fantastic. Mine was blue with a 6 stick. There was also a white with red interior one here locally with a 283 and PG.

The one with the smallest plenum area.

  12. Old and really rare. If you intend to score one of these you'll need a large pile of lettuce>>>>.

  13. Heres another rare cross ram, Edlebrock X4 for BB chev, Takes six 94/97's

I have been running a 350 with a M/T cross ram for 8yrs now I started with two Carter AFB off a 409 but had issue running rich I now use two edlebrock1405 that are jetted down. It runs great (after 2 yrs of tunning) Idles around 800rpm. Ran high 11's in 1/4mile in 77 c-10 but is going in a 68 camaro now. I have pic of set up email me if want more info.

  16. The factory teamed up with Smokey Yunick on a crossram for trans-am racing. This was also offered to the public I believe by Edelbrock; The Smokey Ram. This is the one I would try to find if it were for a 301, just seems right.

    ------------------------------------------------
M/T made cross rams for 265-327 small block
plus 409 and 396-427 big block Chevies,
326-428 Pontiacs, and 221-302 small block
and FE big block Fords. As far as I know M/T
never made a cross ram for Mopars as Chrysler
already had that market covered with their
factory Max-Wedge and Hemi cross rams, and
that M/T more or less duplicated for the other
    makes.

The Mopar "Rat Roaster" intake you mentioned
was a 426 Hemi piece made by Edelbrock and
came with two tops - one for the stock inline
AFB carb setup and another top for 2 staggered
    Holley 4-bbls.

The other Mopar intake - the one with the
    "tri-power" top plate for 3 Holley-2bbls was
an Offenhauser intake and available for
    383-400 B and 413-426-440 RB wedge engines.
It was sort of a cross between a traditional
    X-ram and a kind of low-rise tunnel-ram style
intake. It was mostly intended as an NHRA-legal
Super Stock intake. Besides the aforementioned
3-2bbl Holley top, it was also available with tops
    for a single 4-bbl., 2-4bbls and 3 -2bbl Webbers!

Smokey Ram setting on my truck's 355. Just thinking. Put on an Offy 360 instead. Keeping the Smokey Ram for something special.
