mid 50's caddy engine color

    Were these motors painted dark green? If not what color were they? Thanks

    they were dark blue from 49 till 55.

    and dark blue and gold starting in 56 till 58?

    then back to plain blue again i think.

    The Caddy's were dark blue as said before.
    Dark green was the stock Olds color.

    Yep..dark blue. Gold accents were for eldorado's, not sure what years...


    Here's my 1953 motor. (No. it's not an eldorado, but I wanted to 'liven' up the engine bay without adding chrome. Factory Gold seemed a good fit!)
