Technical Mid 60's GM Window Belt Orientation?

    Just looking to make sure of the wipers orientation ("V" upside right or inverted). I'm pretty confident the example on the right in the attached picture is correct. The wiper on the left is a manufacturer (PUI) already assembled inner wiper with trim, the outers come as rubber only.

    Been a while since working with the older vehicles and the newer, with the orientation of the center example, simply has me having to question. The upright "V" only makes sense as it ensures the window doesn't flip it if it happens to roll down beneath that wiper.

    Much appreciate your insight!

    Although I provided a "somewhat" logical reasoning for my considering the upturned wiper a probable option, along with the pre-punched fastener holes lining up when oriented this way, I will admit it looks a little wonky and leaves the fasteners exposed.
