In 1967 I lived in Ontario, CA. I had a 1954 Chevy 2 door sedan. It was built in the style of the day with chrome reverse, baby moons, lowered etc.
The part I have a question about is the pinstriping. The car was dark blue. The top was mostly covered with white pinstriping with a lot of it in a psychedelic design. Does anyone know who would have been striping in this style at the time? Maybe LSD influenced?????
Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the car. Now that I am older and a pinstriper I wondered who may have striped my first car.

  3. There used to be a fella called Jules the Nightstriper who worked out of the auto business group of shops on Lakewood Blvd, in Bellflower, where Gene's Muffler was. It sounds like you're describing his style. He always signed his work. In very small script...

Thanks for the help. Do you know of any photos of his work?
