A great story as we sit here alone on an evening like many others since retiring to Florida. It's Christmas Eve but you'd never know it by looking around. No Christmas tree. No fancy lites or other decorations. In fact my wife fixed a frozen pizza for our evening meal. Years past back in central Illinois this would have been the first of our family get togethers and Christmas meal.
I don't know why. But this story brought visions of those Christmas's of long ago. I was born January 1939. Graduated high school in 1957. So close to the age of the father. Now I have to ask. Was this a true story? It really doesn't matter but would be so kool if it is.
Thanks and [IMG] to you and your family.
