Get those heaters working, get yer extra thick socks and mittens, we're goin on a run in December! Am I nuts? Yup! Will it be fun? YUP!

I am working out the details now but just wanted to get it in front of everyone, as the details get worked out they will be posted on this thread.

This will be a run based out of the Salina, KS area on December 11th and the plan is to end at the Stiefel Theatre in Salina where we will have a special surprise that we will watch on the big screen in the beautifully restored theatre.

We will leave the Royboy Productions home town of Gypsum, KS around 11am and head out on a road trip that should be about 110 miles.

First stop will be at the highly acclaimed McPherson College Auto Restoration program's facilities for a tour.

Next we'll be hitting the Kansas Motorcycle Museum in Marquette, KS featuring over 100 vintage bikes and racing memorabilia.

Then we'll head west towards Kanopolis Lake and drive up over the damn towards Old U.S. 40 and back towards Salina. The drive is just curvy and hilly enough to be fun :)

I talked to Calvin Calp at Calvin Customs in Salina and he's gonna let us stop by for a shop tour as well.

I have arranged for free food at the Paramount Bar in Salina (a friend of mine's joint) before we go to the Stiefel Theatre.

Finally we will head to the Stiefel for the first public viewing of the 2010 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular DVD by Vintage Torque (coolstuff) and there will be copies of the DVD for sale so you can get that special someone the perfect Christmas gift. Admission to the Theatre will be a voluntary donation of an unwrapped gift for Toys For Tots. You do not have to donate to get in but I ask that you do so that we can help out those who need it.

Any more details I'll update later!

Please comment here if you plan on attending, we don't want to have a bunch of left over food or not enough!

Here's a rough version of the route, Google is a bit off of the time it takes to do the trip, but the mileage is spot on.

Since you star in a scene in the DVD you'd better be there! No making messes in the theatre spilling popcorn or whatever because I have to clean it myself Sunday morning!

I don't like the name of that road.... is that where Mongo lives? Bwahahaha

I was thinking heading west out of town to the Conway area then north? I was on a nice little road there recently, I'll have to go explore again and find the right one.

I will need some nice weather, can you arrange that? :)
