so my father in law is turning 60 this april...long story short back in 1968 he bought a 1965 fast back mustang k code car for $1,700.00 in long beach ca. In 1974 he was going through a nasty devorice..his exwife knew he loved the car more than her..so she said she was going to get the car in the devorice..so being hard headed he sold the car to one of the sons of downey ford in downy ca. so she couldnt get it..every time im with him he is always talking about that car.. I was wondering if there was any way to locate the car or if it was still around today i would love to try to get a hold of the owner of the car and try to buy it back for his 60th birthday this year..or just to see if the car is still around just for a peace of mind...so what im getting at anybody out there work at the dmv..or know where i can find some info on the car...thanks happy new year
I'd try some Mustang forums... and that's not a snarky comment, that's real advice. Maybe someone on a Mustang forum actually knows the car, or where it is.
