Looks like I'll be taking the coupe after all..I have most of my lights working now. Sawzall and I will be putting on the finishing touches Monday night. Lightening holes and maybe the exhaust if I have enough money.. Can't wait.

Man, you guys have balls! I wish there was more like you guys in Chi-Town!
If my Ford wasn't apart, I'd be driving it right now. My goal is to have it driveable by the end of Jan, and then plan something similar here.

 

The weather has been up into the high to mis 50's so its not all that bad out. I drive the Hell outta my coupe when I can. I just hate road salt. Last year it was cold. One of the worst winters I've ever seen. Hopefully this nice weather will carry into next week...

Looks like we will be "latemodeling" it. The wagon is looking a little peekid. If it's as nice as it is today, I might drive the roadster. 3 hrs of below freezing roadstering is a little much for this old fart! I'm such a wuss!

 

....Tommy, you drive what you need to drive. Everyone that knows you know that you're the "real deal!" (me on the other hand......I had a Studebaker, but I'm still a hot rod wanna' be.......)

I will be taking 863 to 78 to 81. Looks like it's about 70 miles from my place so that's about an hour with the truck or an hour and a half with the Ford The plan is to be at Posie's at 9:00 am correct? Then I know what time I need to leave my place at. Might catch some of you somewhere en route. If not I will see you all there.

Those of you who are meeting me,7:00 at Appelbees.I'm bringing my wife and son.See the rest of you at 9ish.I may turn off the heaters in the seats so I can suffer like the cool kids.

 

I'm really hoping for ya'll that the snow that just hit us is not headed your way.

 

zman- I ran thru the snow and sleet yesterday, about 30 miles south of Roanoke Va on I-81. Everyone was doing fine except the broad in the SUV... (insert your own ending here). Bad weather ain't nothing to drive IN. but bad drivers are hell to drive WITH. I was inches away from having to search Rocky's cl***ifieds for some Pontiac parts.

Here's a news flash for you- It's gonna be F'ING COLD.
