Hi...I am new to this, and wanted to introduce myself. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado....and am retired from the Forest Service. Now that I am retired, I have started to build a t-bucket, 'sorta' like the one I had in high school in 1976...hopefully a bit more refined and actually runs when I turn the key. I have a chassis, with a ford 300 inline 6, with c-4 transmission...and am currently working on the body, which is a steel and wood 1914 Oldsmobile roadster ...the 'real' deal, but needing lots of elbow-grease. My wife is excited about getting it finished, and I think I am clearly making progress, although slowly. I'm finding that 'nothing' ever goes as planned, and thankfully I have learned a bit more patience with my graying hair. It's still fun, and I'm enjoying the whole process. I had a 1941 Ford pickup from age 14, that I sold around 1987....I kick myself till this day for letting it go...all for the 'love' of a catastrophic girlfriend who left when the money ran out...oh, those were the days!...Now, I'm married, and my wife is supportive of my time spent in the garage with 'our' hotrod. I just wanted to thank this forum for 'being there' with all the hands-on technical stuff that us 'first timers' who want a hot rod, but don't know a lot...can come to for advice...it means a lot.-----thanks, ...Rai
