MII ball joint Failure- Read if you have MII

The ball joint on my mothers LTD snapped off in a parking lot. She had it towed to behind garage.

Definitely a Ford factory part. That little sliver is all that was holding it. The rest was rusted and oily for some time.


I looked around the garage and found a fox mustang used the same ball joint. Doubled checked it online. So either the 3000lb mustang has a big ball joint or the 4000lb LTD has a small one.
I made this press to help them in easy. Works great.

 

So just trying to get my head around this. Chinese Tong shows up "Hey gweilo b*st*rd, you sell these shit ball-joints, or we chop suey your sorry white ass!" Something like that?
