You guys sure aren't helping me feel better. Maybe I should get the charge cancelled on my credit card before it is too late.

Call the credit card company and dispute the charges. You have that right as a card holder. The card company can help get this resolved.

UPDATE Saw this companies display at the Ft Worth Goodguys this weekend. Spoke to their sales rep, asked why the parts I ordered weren't like the ones he had on display and showed him the pics. Their display front end looked very good and professional. Told him I was trying to get the customer service rep to work with me to get good parts and as he was turning to get away from my comments (and before any other customers heard our conversation) he said I would PROBABLY get good parts the next time.

If I don't get good parts, I promise to flame them every chance I get.

The customer service rep called me and said he had personally picked out a set of arms that are good. He also said he went through 55 boxes looking for a set that matched my dimensions on a sketch I sent them. Never found a set exactly like I need, but from his discriptions, I can make them work. I sketched up a drawing based on dimensions that would have been used on stock MII lower arms except for the pivot end. That dimension would have been 7.5 inches between the bushings. At least he said they were welded straight and the bushings were linear. I should receive them next Tuesday (20th).

hunh.... sounds like they have some serious quality issues. I'd like to know who they are so I can make sure I never order from them.

I've had very good MII products come from Heidts, Fatman, and Speedway...

  8. Hey Stingray: I'm not aware of Ford ever running 5 x 5.25 . . . all the early stuff is 5 x 5.5. So, it seems you're waiting for a bolt pattern that is not made and won't fit any early wheels anyway.

  9. Your life and others depend on those . . . I wouldn't run em', look like a complete POS to me.

Got the replacements today. Much better than the first set. Still have some issues, but nothing major nor life threatening if I use them. They are indeed from Helix. Their customer service person called me before they shipped them to let me know what the set measured against the sketches I sent to them with the recommended measurements. Would I buy from them again?? If I had any way to bend heavy wall tubing, I would have made my own.
