    I've used zero gap second rings before with really good results, but I've not used the top rings.

    What do you have in mind for cam specs?

    I'm having a stock replacement cam ground. I think its 226@.050 .430" INT 234@.050" .430" EXH.
    111 lobe centers.

    Call Total Seal and talk to a tech next time you’re building or refurbishing an engine. I too thought and did as you…. now I’m thinking slightly different and as some “progressive thinking” in todays engines .

    I think were going to set the pistons up with NPR 1.0-1.2-2.8 ring package. Pretty nice stuff for a decent price.
