thanks for all the pictures of the great nailheads! lots of inspiration for us! wish we wern't busy; maybe next year we will bring the '36 if we feel we can get it road-worthy by then
Here's a link to the pictures I took. If you own one of the cars pictured I'd love you to leave comments with details about the vehicle. I got quite a few, but some I skipped because I'd captured them at the previous Milltown Rodz shows. Look in those albums if you don't see a car you're looking for.
I got directed up rocky mountain road to the camping area around 10:45 Saturday and left at 3:30.I missed you somehow.I like the new dusty brown color on your sled!
Had a great time! A big thank you to all who worked so hard to put on a great show. Also, thanks to all who posted the great pictures.
Me n grace thank you all for the great comments ! It took a lot to make it happen at the new venue this year ! The few little bugs will be worked out for next year! We thank you all for the support ! This is our America this is our show ! Milltown 6 will be even better ! Thank you folks ! You all rule ! We wouldn't do it if not for the comments and thAnx !
WOW, great pictures. Loved every minute of it. Pinups were SO hot, PBR's SO cold, what a great show, thanks Lance and Grace, see you at Orange!!
Sent from my iPhone using TJJ Had a good time, cool venue other than the frequent dusts storms. I liked the airconditioned bar near the entrance that no one seemed to know about, we had it to ourselves. Also thanks for the compliments on my car, I appreciate them.
Congrats Keith, I just saw that the other day and meant to PM you! Your car is bitchin and totally deserves the credit bro!
Lance, do you have a number on how many cars showed up? Thanks again for putting on this show, it was a great time!
I liked the airconditioned bar near the entrance that no one seemed to know about, we had it to ourselves. [/QUOTE] i wanna know who the hell goes to a car show and sits in the bar??!! anyways, like the others have said, nice venue sans the dust and rocks, alot of nice cars, a few more rats than i would like to see, but overall a good show and a good time. thanks, eddie.
What I like about Milltown is that it represents a cross section of our hobby; you see rat rods alongside muscle cars and beauties like LeadSledMerc's and Allstarderrick's cars. And without ratrods and that culture, Milltown probably would never have gotten where it is now. All the comments in this thread were constructive before that little dig.
I didn't mean to sound like I was trying to start shit. I realize rats aren't appreciated here (even I don't appreciate most of them,) but they have been an integral part of the Milltown show long before I started going. It's a sign of the times that I noticed fewer ratrods this year than last, and the overall quality of the cars was up, so everyone should just be happy!
i heard they had them segregated from everyone else. which is fine. everyone should be happy to just have a really nice, well recieved show in this area. but no matter what; someone is always going to bitch about something i guess. heres a nice idea: look at the cars you want to look at and by-pass the ones that arn't to your taste. its simple.
Sent from my iPhone using TJJ Nothing was segregated other than the people who showed up later and had to park in the front or rear lot. I do have to agree there were a bunch of cars that I'm not personally interested in. With that said it doesn't mean they don't belong, they have been going since the beginning. Just my opinion, not bashing.

Lol
That is incorrect. There was no segregation according to style . Car Clubs and Camping designated to a different area than the rest of the show. As far as the camping went, it made sense. As far as Clubs (especially ones like the Ring Rekers who were not camping , I don't think it did. The missus and I stayed in an area motel on Friday night. When we came back on Saturday we choose not to join the rest of my club (who were mostly camping) because I'd already had to zip tie one of my lakes pipes up to band aid damage occurring due the road in and out of that area. Not a that big deal and it coulda been worse. The condition of that road was a first year glitch, and shit happens. I'm not gonna bitch without offering help with a solution. Lance, I volunteer to come up early next year to help grade and level that entrance if ya need it, Bro.
thanx guys... we just like to make sure all enjoy.... no segragation at all... in the past people ask for club parking.. so we did our best.. being a first year at the new venue lotsa tweeks are needed....yup.. the roads will be smoother in and out and going out back.... all in all we are happy with the venue.. im sure they will want us back... takin a month or two to relax.... dont forget the rumble at ralphs sept 25th.... and i thank all of you for ther feedback... we want to know everything..
