I'm looking for a picture of the Graffiti Coupe that was taken at the Oakland Museum of California back in the mid 90s or so. The picture is with the car in a display similiar to a what might be found in a barn or private shop. I know there are pictures around of this but dang if I can find one. Thanks in advance. I have faith in the "power of the HAMB"
Pretty sure it was not. I found a post card but there were other pictures of the display. Here's the post card. Ah yes. I remember seeing the poster from Sacramento Vintage Ford. Thanks
I have a pic I took when I was there... Once Phil Linhares found out I was a hot rodder and that I was born and raised in Modesto, he walked me around all the cars, opening some of them up for me, and then let me take pics... photography wasn't allowed... so it was a real treat. I also went on the day that they had several hot rodders talk on the subject of... hot rods and customs, and California's car culture. This was a few years before hot rodding became a "Kulture"... Sam
I'll bet that was a real treat. Do you have any pictures of the detail around the display? We're looking for ideas to put in a display.
