John Wells of "Cool Stuff" will be vending, that I know for sure.
Our car club, THE CHEATERSwill be showing a few machines, about 8 of them, at least five that have never been there.
One of our members (Mike Lang) will be bringing some of his fleet of antique race motorcycles, like a Harley 8 valve or some factory WR big flattie powered stuff. You seem to be a bike fan, so that might flip your switch.
So if you see any jack asses it's probably one of us, stop & say hello.

Really I just got into bikes last year, but I bought 15. But it always was and still is cars. If you check my album you'll see. However, I would like to talk with Mike about a bike show I'm doing in Milwaukee in August as I'll have two groups, one strictly for race bikes. I will look for the cheaters and maybe I should change my avitar, except the Indian is really the only "custom" vehicle I have.

 

OK. I changed the avitar. So they ain't hot rods or customs. Love 'em anyway.

Hey Kroozer - remember I came from the Naked City (or was that show beforte your time?) Also, anyone who grew up swilling Knickerbocker beer can do Pabst by the barrel -- and I'm talking the barrel at Miller Stadium!

Where are the bike pics? I'm not a strong reader/speller so I like pictures.

Did you know that YOU have the same name (Gunner) as the former NFL QB Boomer Easiasons son? Also one Ricky Nelsons sons is named Gunner, Yeah, trivia for you, I also know stuff about Early Ford V8s, cats, & how to build skateboard ramps.
Other than that I'm pretty boring.

He has a 1920..something factory Indian Race Bike (a board track bike), for real, original paint! and original tires!, no bullpoop, the dude has some ill ass sickles.

when you ask to purchase that certain Weesner shirt - and it takes me 4 minutes to find it..........
please stay patient - I simply do not have good organization skills and as a result - you, the customer, have to wait while I find crap.

Of note this time - a LOT of kids shirts just got restocked and I will have even MORE vintage original movie posters (some are HUGE like 40 x 60)

and for those of you that have not seen the DVD#4 we will be playing that on the TV

not sure WHERE we are in the building - but hopefully by the dreamy Cheaters

Naked City was a nudie camp on Route 10 in Roselawn, IN... the only place I've ever been where you have naked girls carrying mace... I guess they knew I was on my way...

Naked City was a B & W cop show based in NYC. "There are 8 million stories in the Naked City and this is one of them" is how it started each week. But sorry Kroozer - there was no nudity on TV back then. (Some kool rodz, tho).

 

OK. Here's the thing . . . I'm the new guy and have no idea how to spot you old farts. So if you see a guy with white hair, white beard, Indian motorcycle jacket and Indiana Jones hat you just buy me a beer.

How's that for a deal. With all the folks on here, I'll be drunk by noon.

My son and I are planning to be there Saturday as soon as we can drive down from Iola. And really -- I'd love to meet as many new friends as possible. Good looking girls are invited to buy me a beer, too. (Just fantasizing, of course. That NEVER happens).

 

Don't forget to stop by the Pinstripe Legends display and bid on some panels and other automotive art to raise funds for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. A lot of HAMBers in the Legends group, all working to help kids. Brando will accept his Lifetime Achievement Award prior to the 7:00 auction Saturday evening. Many HAMB folks milling around all weekend.

See the Cruisin" Angels "survivor" Model A ex 1960's show truck, been sittin in the garage, hasn't been driven in 30+ years. Rough around the edges but "the real deal", 60's style. Some of the old members are trying to find out who moved the steering wheel, seems the steering wheel is way close to their bellies.

It was 50 and 5 years ago that I went to my first car show and I still enjoy the cars and the people.

 

I call bullshit on this one...NOBODY KNOWS CATS!!!

 

Everything is normal in the world now. Move-in day and we are suppose to get 6-10 inches of snow. Some things never change. Glad i'm just looking this year and not showing.

 

We got lucky and were able to move in last night now we just need to go sometime today and clean the cars. I'm sure with the snow coming it is going to be a long day for Brian and his team. I hope the car count is good for them , His first year and bad weather on move in day!

 

Damn this is depressing!! I can't remember the last time we missed WOW in Sud City. Can't do it this year though too damn much to do getting ready for the big trip.

Have fun everybody and drink a beer or twelve for Maggie & I.

Hey - Big thanks to the Cheaters for getting me in early to the show for set up.......as well as Joe and Brian who are working this whole thing out!

they knew I was gonna have to drive in the 6 inches of snow from Iowa to Milwaukee...........
I really dont know if I would have even made the show cause I have tried doing this once before in this kind of weather and after about 2 hours........of going 60 miles........I turned around and went home.....
I hears I 74 got shut down today - cant imagine what the other roads are gonna be like - hope everyone is safe!
