  4. My mini bike is using an old cast iron Briggs with a pull start but not recoil. Not legal?

I competed in the mini bike drags at the rust revival back in May and I loved it. Breeder had a stock, modified and prostock cl***. It was a blast!

If you're serious, we might just do it. My brother lives in Sanger so the event wouldn't be too far away. In '69 he was running over 80 in the 1/4 with the bike, so we have "short course" gears for it. He wants to take it back to the salt next year, and we've been wondering where we could do a little test and tune. This could get interesting. :D

The Mini Bike Rules are written in a way to eliminate modern mini motorcycles and pocket bikes. If you have a vintage bike like a Cushman, Mustang, ETC you are welcome to attend!

  16. Been working on my mini bike trying to get it built before Oct. 10th (shouldn't be a problem), coming together nicely. Thought I would start a build thread but didn't want to be too far O/T so here are a few pictures. My friend John "the frame builder" was a big help.

Seeing this one run 130 in the 10's at OCIR in the 60's is what inspired my brother and I to build our LSR bike. The rider had huge cajones!!!

Yes, Skip, we have it penciled in, if we can round up some more nitro. Really hard to find someone who will sell you less than 5 gallons. 9-11 really screwd that up. :(

Shouldn't have to Skip. It p***ed tech at LIONS, Irwindale, and OCIR. Then it got the toughest look over from Earl Flanders on the salt, and p***ed with flying colors. But, then, that was in '69!! :D
