    Ah, stripe. You'd have to ask Alex. I thought it should be under the clear, but there was a reason to do it on top. I don't remember what it was.

    As a pinstriper I can tell you why...for one, it's MUCH easier to stripe on clear that it is on the base. Two, there is always a chance of the stripes bleeding under the clear.

    Love the car Kirk, I would love to own a car like it someday.

    OK so why not stripe it after a few coats of clear and before the final coats?? Sorry....just being a PITA ! Looks crazy...can't wait to see it in the sunlight !!

    Have you done a test stripe yet? To see if you are gonna like baby blue. Or maybe try a purple/lavender.

    Skate Fink PM'd me out of the blue and offered these NOS custom taillight lenses to me for the Starliner. All he wants is a good photo of the car with them on. I offered to pay him but he refused.
