Minneapolis happenings...

A friend of mine will be in Minneapolis until the 15th....any good hot rod and/or motorcycle events going on? Cruise nights, etc...Thanks...

North St Paul at 7th Ave and Margret on Friday night.
Down Town Anoka at 3rd Ave and Jackson Street Saturday night. Billy's Bar has Queen Cut Prime Rib for $10.99 and Casa Rio across the street has great Tex-Mex.
Down Town Hastings is Saturday also. Head for 2nd and Sibley.
All three of these shows draw up to 500 cars '75 and older.

The Twin Cities area has a great car scene.

Thursday night go to the Minnetonka Drive-in. Small car show (~100 cars) but you can actually be served by girls in roller skates. Get the Hot Rod Special.

Friday night in North St. Paul is a lot of fun. Hundreds of cars. There are plenty of food vendors so you will not starve. If you get thirsty, Neumann's is fun and has been open since 1887. We usually have dinner and a couple of beers there.

Saturday night I'd recommend Anoka. Another great spot.

If you see a guy with a ratty old Mustang (more primer than paint), say Hi. I try to make these shows.
