I am trying to design my air bag helper setup for the wagon.
I need something to air up when I have the vintage travel trailer hooked up.

It has a monoleaf setup on the rear and it should ride ok empty, but it will squat it with the trailer on it.

I am looking through air bag dimensions online and they have the pressures listed. Some are as low as 4 lbs. Is this ok to run them at this pressure?

The reason I ask is that I need the dimensions at the min. allowable pressure.

I have emailed some of the bigger airbag companies but no response yet.

I've run them as helper springs on the front of a Ford pickup used to plow snow in the winter. They advise keeping 10 psi in them but we ran it in the summer with no air in them without adverse effects. I ***ume they want some air in them to keep the bag from collapsing in and getting pinched on the internal bump stop.

As a helper spring, 5lbs or enough to keep the bag from collapsing would be sufficient.

I have an off topic truck that has a helper bag system in the back with leaf springs and they recommend 10 psi. I have ran them with a couple psi low and haven't seen a problem but try not to do that for long.

Atmospheric pressure is sufficient. 14.7psi, at sea-level. Open the valve with the vehicle unloaded. Close valve. 14.7psi, +/- your al***ude correction.
