Technical Mirror ID

My young fella brought me this for Christmas from a old second hand shop and tried out his new brushes.
Yesterday when he gave it to me he asked what I thought it was off. I have no idea.
As the mirror sits square with the mount it must be off a wide flat door or guard I’m thinking, Any ideas from the knowledgeable here.
Disregard the stripping, it’s his first go and I love the thoughts anyway.

Does it say Yankee on the bottom piece ? They were a big after market sales giant.
