Hot Rods "Mishawaka Missile", '57 Nomad drag car. And a Studebaker crew cab hauler. Who knows more about it?

Came across this photo that was shared to another site. Stude didn't build any production crew cab trucks. Anybody know more about it or the Nomad?

 

Good old days. Reminds me of seeing an Indy car being trucked in on the back of a pickup truck, sort of the way folk up here haul snowmobiles.

Any chance the Nomad is Stude powered?

 

I own the 57 Nomad...I bought it last year. It's been converted back to its original condition. Unfortunately when I got it the lettering and the paint had been removed......but its still awesome!
