Yesterday's mission was to fly in a B-17 and get a few photos of my "32 Spitfire" with the plane. The flight on the B-17 was just awesome and I was lucky the folks at M.A.P.S. granted me permission to bring my car in at the end of the day. (Thanks again!) What a great organization and the Collins Foundation will be there through the 16th. If you in N.E. Ohio go check it out. They have the B-17 and B-24 in right now with maybe a Mustang coming today. Here is the complete build link of my car: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=332610&highlight=32+spitfire 32 Spitfire

My wife surprised me with a ride in 909 a few years ago when the Collins Foundation was here for an air show. My dad flew B-17's in Europe and B-29's in the Pacific during WWII. I'll never forget that flight as my dad passed away shortly after. Frank
drjones, I have a few flight pictures that I will post today. Here is a cool one ...nothing like hearing and feeling those engines roar! The few original B-17 pilots & crew that showed up just wanted to hear those engines! 32 Spitfire
DAMN DAMN DAMN...my TWO favorite things....WWII warbirds and hot rods. Lucky SOB !! Fuck it - Im goin up in "Aluminium Overcast" when I get over there next year. Rat
My wife and I were outside Sunday when I heard this low droning noise in the sky. I told her there is something special up there and to my surprise the 909 came into view and made a slow left turn into the sun right over my house! What an amazing plane! They flew laps all evening but none were as close as that one. Your a lucky dude Spitfire!
